Mokk Gård is a historic mountain farm in Steinkjer, situated in scenic surroundings close to the treeline, at the border of Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park. The area offers perfect conditions for amazing nature experiences.
 

The snowshoe hike is suitable for both beginners and experienced snowshoers. You can take the hike during the day, at twilight, or in the evening with a headlamp. During the hike, you’ll be served a warm drink and a light snack. After making a reservation, you will receive a suggested meeting time before your card is charged.
 

The package includes:

• Rental of snowshoes, ski poles, and guide
• Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours

Rent Snowshoes and Go Solo?
If you prefer to go on a snowshoe hike without a guide, you can rent snowshoes from Mokk Gård and venture out on your own. The price is for a 2-hour rental.
 

Combine Your Hike with an Overnight Stay at Mokk Gård’s Cozy Cabin
Mokk Gård also offers accommodation for small and large groups in the main house, which has 40 beds spread across 2, 3, and 4-person rooms. The rooms are simply furnished, with shared showers and toilets in the hallway. The distinctive, over 100-year-old building features a large and cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining room, and a spacious kitchen.
